About Us
Meet Big Lu
The real MVP on the team. He looks like a wolf, but has been known to act like a flower.
Big Lu — AKA our rescue pup, Lupin — is our sweet, sensitive guy. Yes, we are those people who named the whole business for our dog.
You will understand why if you get to meet him or see him play with your pup. He’s a lover of all (except hiking poles and the occasional rambunctious kiddo he thinks will throw things at him).
A true rez dog, good boy, and a sensitive soul. We love him dearly, and that same care is what we bring into your home cleaning systems.
We found him via Soul Dog Rescue and are happy to donate a portion of all profits to the Ark Valley Humane Society to support local animal rescue here in the valley.
Get to know his humans —
Cody & Marielle
Where do a firefighter and an herbalist meet in the middle? Somewhere up a mountain, and HVAC.
When we moved to the valley, we couldn’t find any companies to clean the vents out of our new house — so here we are.
We are grateful to have landed in Buena Vista — the place we want to raise a family and continue building community. Big Lou's Air & Duct grew out of a simple wish: to help take care of the homes around us, and help our neighbors breathe cleaner to live well.
Cody’s our reliable tech — the one you’ll meet on the ground, and we’re bias but we think he’s a great guy. Friend of many, and currently commuting to fight fires full time on the front range when he’s not hanging out with super powered vacuums or climbing mountains.
Marielle helps support customer service when Cody’s at the station and does our marketing and outreach. She’s walked her own road with allergies and mold exposure, and learned firsthand how the dryness in Colorado presents it’s own unique set of challenges for health sensitive people. (Yes, mold can still grow in your home even in this dry of a climate…)
We met snowboarding in the San Juans and quickly hit it off. Lupin soon joined our family, now we’re grateful to live where we’ve dreamed of right at the base of Cottonwood Pass.
Our lived experience is at the heart of what we do. We want what’s best for our neighbors and this community, and will pay attention to the small details others overlook. We’re here to do every job right and leave your home a little lighter.
